I always have. I have lodged 4 reports in Oct for various reasons. No ADSL light, can't connect, slow surfing etc. Really annoy with their "best effort" service.

Now, thinking of terminating but still under 1 year contract. :x
Any follow up after your report?

There;s a few discussions about this here in LOC, and seems like everyone now are very happy to see their connection jumped to 1mb per second. It might be your router or the computer hardware.

IMO, if you're still under one year contract, you cen't terminate the service before the maturity date (which is the 12th months). You have to pay the bill eventho' you're not using it.

Im planning to get Streamyx connection maybe next year, so I can start my business from home. It's very irritating to get this done from the office!!
I don't think it is my modem failure as the the problem varies.

I do follow-up with them and they normally fix it after 2 working days. And I lost my internet during the 2 days :x
I was having big prolems and like I reported, they came, they saw, they fixed it..... I hope that is has remained fixed, but my wife who contacts me most days (Dutiful Asiatic lady that she is) has not complained (Well, not about Streamyx anyway) Big Grin
Yes Kent, the 1mb would get you the clear sound and connection when you're using Skype to contact your family. Big Grin
512K would do fine for Skype. Not sure about the video quality though.
Errrr... Wots Skype? One of these sit with the head phones on things? I will talk to you about it on Friday.....
Go surf skype.com. You can talk or video conferencing via PC for free, as long as both parties have skype installed. I have tried it and the sound is very clear.
Yeah, that's the best option. We're using it for business purpose - less cost!

I'm still thinking if we can install the Skype in PDA phone with Windows OS? Saw one documentary from UK couple fo years ago where mobile users started to use Skype in their phone, thus making a big competition between the mobile broadband provider and the conventional telecommunication system there.

I have the same problem few days before Raya and during Raya. Thankful its over... its back to normal by itself
I am still at snail pace this morning :x

Sometime the problem will fix itselfs even if I do not complain.
Did you check your IP config? Have you tried pinging your server? Are you using more than one phone at home? Have your phone cable been check or replaced before?
It is ok now. I did nothing to my set up. Just complain to TMNet and they do the rest. Don't know what they did though.
You have to be carefull about these thing RyanH, fo all u know.. some dude in the TM sb might be using ur ID and pw for their own personal use. They can switch your port in there u know.. i recommend u double check with them
Hehe, how to double check? I checked other forum and many complained of slowness during that period. I guess I am not alone. Anyway, as long as they compensate me for my lost online time, I am ok
