RE: is distance a problem ??
Heard of the age old saying “Distance makes the heart grow fonder”? Well, it’s true!!  Don’t worry you will get through it! I had a long distance relationship with my fiancé for a year before we got married and it was fun! We enjoyed each other’s company when we met after ages! And we were always on the phone or on Skype! Yeah you will definitely be paying a huge phone bill every month but who cares, it’s not forever! So don’t worry, it’s not the distance or the mode or frequency of communication that matters. It’s about how strong your relationship is and how much you trust each other. So work on that and you should be fine. Smile

I’ve been involved in two long distances relationships and both thrived until we were each back together and then ended naturally and mutually sometime after. It’s difficult, but you can work to figure it out. The one thing I found really ironic about a long distance is giving your partner space. I know sounds weird, right? But think about it. If you call each other every night tension begins to build when one person is late or too tired to talk. Then one person can start feeling neglected. It’s good to communicate but try not to overwhelm him/her with it. I used to be stressed out about needing to call her before I go to bed, because I felt tired and didn’t have anything to say other than… I’m tired. Also, plan your trips accordingly and instead of saying you’re visiting next weekend, make plans to do specific things. Dinners, sight-seeing, parks and rec. Anything. Keep it lively and fun. Enjoy every minute of it.
