....... haven't heard of that "Simple Life" show, spider. Just checked it out on google and seems like something worth watching. I see that one of the stars of the show is called Paris Hilton ..... think I knew her sister, Bangkok Hilton 8-)

haha, although one is an object while the other is a real human, hmm, maybe might just called her object cos' she doesn't seem to have any human organs functioning well, haha.. *i know, i'm so cruel* i've only watched like a couple of times, but can't say i hated it, cos some scenes we knew for a fact that they must be scripted, but ain't we just love it to see to dumb girl working their clumsiness thru "actual jobs".. of cos they sucks big time along the way, cos i think any employer r smart enough to know that these 2 girls ain't going to be doing anything, except looking 'pretty'... the show apparently is a huge success, not sure why, maybe we are so into 'REALITY TV SHOW' that we actually forget that "WE ARE IN REALITY"..

....... ah, it's one of those "Reality" shows, is it ? Don't really care much for them, although the first one I saw, with two groups of Aussies looking for hidden treasure on an island, was quite interesting ... btw, have you seen the movie "Bangkok Hilton" ... with Nicole Kidman and Denholm Elliott ? Really good film ! ....... oops, and Nicole got a super goodbye kiss from her dad at the end !! :?

really! *i'm not showing interest in the 'superkiss from her dad', but towards the great movie, haha* maybe i'll ask my friend to d/l it from the net.. what's the story abt?? is it shot in bangkok itself? or just a label to attract Asian viewer. haha. anyway, i've always very fond of nicole's role, she keeps her audience in thier seats with her amazing eyes!

....... so you are a Nicole Kidman fan also, spider ? No, "Bangkok Hilton" is no label ... it's the nickname of the big jail in Bangkok ... but the locations for the film take place in different parts of the world, including Bangkok, London, Goa and Australia. The film is four hours long. You can check it out on : Guests cannot see links in the messages. Please register to forum by clicking here to see links.

(didn't know she was an Australian born in Hawaii with a birthday nearly the same as mine !) and Guests cannot see links in the messages. Please register to forum by clicking here to see links. (Denholm Elliott was in the RAF in WWII and was shot down over Germany in 1942 !)

....... ps, about that goodbye kiss, the review says "And the final scene at the airport when Hal has to leave Katrina is so sad. Wonderful, don't miss it !" .....

i'm really glad it's a 'must-watch' movie, anyway will try to get it d/l. 4 hours? u gotta be kidding me, that's like longer than 'lord of the ring'. then must really prepare popcorn and coke.. haha. btw, i'm not really a loyal fan of nicole, haha, my taste spawns from many talented actors, including juliane moore, matt damon, reese witherspoon, and of cos my latest fave angelina jolie for her role in 'alexander' movie.

....... hi, spider ..... think we have moved into the :offtopic: zone here so I've borrowed Liza's "hello" topic to get back to you ..... under "Forums", that's Labuan Talk > Labuanites > hello (page 6).

..... hi, Liza ..... we haven't used this one for a long time, eh ? ..... it'll have spiders' webs all over it
