haha.. after all that ethical talk, u still ended up with a blue eye dream! yes it's cruel, but will u still think of the same if u have sex and yr bf/husband sperm doesn't use for reproduction, but ended up all over the bed or in a condom thrown in the bin (pls don't flush it down the toilet!!).. so is that cruel as well for releasing sperm (pre-life form) into nothing?

haha.. but still the same lah... sperm contains half of life-form.. so there's no denying how much baby we kill over the years.. i've a friend who's in bio-meds told me that female fertility is reduce with each period cycle.. meaning that the chances to get pregnant is lower if she is older, which is normal fact.. but the study he did recently explained that there's a 75% possiblity that children born to late parents may not be as smart as children born to young mothers. is this helpful?... hmm but it's still not a convincing step in pushing people to marry early, especially with increasing educated and working females, it is more likely that more females will marry late.

Surrogate mother gives birth to quintuplets
A woman in the United States who agreed to be a surrogate mother for a couple unable to have children has given birth to five baby boys at a Phoenix hospital. Teresa Anderson delivered the rare quintuplets by caesarean section within five minutes and without complications at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Centre in Arizona. All five boys were reported to be doing well in an intensive care unit. Doctors said the quintuplets may be a record for a surrogate mother. "There are no statistics kept on the number of quintuplet births to surrogate mothers," said Dr John Elliott, who delivered the babies. "Suffice to say, it's incredibly rare." In remarks released by the hospital, Ms Anderson said: "I feel great. I thought it was amazing. "It was just a wonderful blessing to see those babies and hear their cries." Ms Anderson was implanted with five embryos but did not expect all to be viable. The newborns' parents, Luisa Gonzalez and Enrique Moreno, have named them Enrique, Jorge, Gabriel, Javier and Victor. Javier will have to undergo surgery later for a rare heart defect. The couple issued a statement thanking Ms Anderson, who waived her $US15,000 fee because of the cost the parents will have to bear with their new family of seven. 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O goodness! |
